On Saturday, September 30, 2023, the City of Las Vegas in collaboration with the Westside School Alumni Foundation celebrated the Westside School's 100th anniversary with a Parade and Festival honoring the school which is the oldest standing school in the city of Las Vegas (1923-2023).  The celebration included entertainment, food, and acknowledgement from various political figures in the Las Vegas area.  This celebration was the first of its kind in the Historical Westside area.
